Hollywood actress Keke Palmer has said that she is open to finding love again. She recently had her say during an interview with Whoopi Goldberg at a 2026 Tribeca Film Festival Storyteller event in New York City.

Opening up about her current capacity for romantic relationships, Keke revealed that while her craving for romance love has reduced over the years, she remains open to being in a relationship.

The moviestar, however, added that her baby boy and work are her main priorities in life right now.

Her words, “I’m more open to love than I was before — especially after having my son, I was kind of like, ‘I don’t even know what it is to be touched,’ You know what I mean? You just don’t even want to be looked at. Obviously, some of that’s postpartum and obviously some of that’s just when you have a big separation.

So now love looks like to me is having fun. I’m thrilled about not being so pressed about an outcome. . . I always want to just be able to experience things as they are without feeling the pressure of them needing to be a certain something to appear some way to someone else.

My son is my entire world. I’m deeply passionate about my work, and if you want to come around, do what you need to do and leave, and I’ll come back to you. Let’s just have fun, you know what I mean? So I think also my experience, my relationship to love is no longer this overly idealistic place for romance love. Romance love is now more like 20% of my love box, where 60% is Leo, 15% of it is work.

The other percentages are. . . and then love, romantic love, it’s more like five to 10%. It doesn’t make up the whole box, and I think that’s important. It doesn’t mean that I’m not giving 100% when I decide to love someone, but I’m not letting that define me.”

WOW.

The cinema of the United States, consisting mainly of major film studios (also known metonymously as Hollywood) along with some independent films, has had a large effect on the global film industry since the early 20th century.

The dominant style of American cinema is classical Hollywood cinema, which developed from 1910 to 1962 and is still typical of most films made there to this day.

Hollywood is considered to be the oldest film industry, in the sense of being the place where the earliest film studios and production companies emerged. It is the birthplace of various genres of cinema —among them comedy, drama, action, the musical, romance, horror, science fiction, and the epic—and has set the example for other national film industries.

Many of Hollywood’s highest-grossing movies have generated more box-office revenue and ticket sales outside the United States than films made elsewhere. The United States is a leading pioneer in motion picture engineering and technology.
