Popular activist Charly Boy has expressed displeasure at being married to the same woman for nearly 50 years. He recently had his say during an interview on Yanga 89.9FM, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Reflecting on his long-term marriage, the former singer admitted that being with one person can feel very repetitive and emotionally routine.

Stressing that 48 years of marriage is absolutely boring, Charly Boy noted that familiarity over time can reduce excitement in relationships.

His words, “I have been married to one woman for 48 years. It is very boring. Imagine eating the same Egusi for years, it’s boring now.”
