Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson has said that his wife Lauren Hashian is one of the greatest music producers he has ever worked with. He recently had his say during an interview with PEOPLE, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that they collaborated for the first time on the “Moana” album, Dwayne revealed that the idea of spotlighting Pacific Island music artists with new songs inspired by the movie originally came from his wife.
The moviestar added that he loves how Lauren is very sensitive and empathetic to other creatives around her.
His words, “This is the first time we’ve really, really worked together.
It’s something that we’ve dreamed of doing for these artists because we listen to these artists every day.
I will say, not just because she’s sitting beside me and I’m looking for brownie points. But she was truly one of the greatest producers I’ve ever worked with. Incredibly detailed, lights up a room, very, very, very sensitive and empathetic to creatives and creative people.
I’m also aware that if I have an idea that I’m passionate about, it could come across as a force. And it requires someone — a wife — who can take the force of it, but then come back and go, ‘I don’t know about that. Can I share with you my thoughts?’
I’m usually like, ‘I don’t know about that! I think my idea is pretty good,’ You need that counterbalance.”
