Popular music executive Ubi Franklin has said that he owns a technology that is capable of clearing blocked drainage channels across Lagos State. He recently had his say while speaking during a podcast interview, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Recounting how he once returned to his office to find floodwater above the bonnet of his Mercedes-Benz C300, Ubi stated that he has a device that can help improve water flow and curb flooding.
Franklin added that he is willing to discuss with the commissioner to provide a lasting solution to the problem.
His words, “I had left the office in my Prado, but when I returned, the water had already reached the engine level.
I have something that, if Tokunbo, the commissioner, is ready, I can sit with him and discuss. All the gullies in Lagos will be opened and ensure free flow of water. I have it, it’s a technology.”
