I Love Tonali Despite His Performance Against Newcastle – De Zerbi

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has launched a passionate defence of Sandro Tonali after the Italian midfielder endured a miserable home debut against Newcastle United. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

Expressing his unending love for Tonali, De Zerbi revealed that he is more supportive of his players following the defeat at home than he would be after a victory.

The Italian coach added that despite feeling very disappointed with the result, he’ll always shield his players like they are his kids.

His words, “No, I love Sandro Tonali.
