Veteran Nollywood actor Desmond Elliot has begged Femi Gbajabiamila for forgiveness after months of political tension between them. Their relationship became strained again during the latest APC primary in Surulere Constituency I, where Gbajabiamila backed Barakat Odunuga-Bakare for the seat Elliot had represented.
Desmond eventually withdrew from the contest, saying he accepted the decision of the people of Surulere.
Apologizing months later, Elliot said that he was misguided during the last APC primaries and pledged to renew his loyalty to the GAC leadership in Lagos.
“I’m sorry daddy”, he pleaded while on his knees.
