Popular music video director TG Omori has opened up about the malfunctioning kidney battle that kept him in hospital for more than six months in Ikoyi. He recently had his say while speaking on the Afropolitan Podcast, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that his brother will now have to live with just one kidney for the rest of his life, TG Omori stated that his body initially rejected the transplanted kidney, forcing him to undergo another procedure.
He added that even though six people were willing to donate a kidney to him, his brother eventually stepped forward and came to his rescue.
His words, “I was hospitalized for more than six months in Ikoyi after my kidney failed.
Six people were willing to donate a kidney to me, but after nine months of searching, my brother eventually became the donor.
My body initially rejected the transplanted kidney, which led to another procedure.
My brother will now live with one kidney for the rest of his life.”
