Popular singer Tekno has said that entertainment does not always have to be intelligent. He recently had his say during an interview, and fans have been reacting.
Reacting to the “Olodo Uprising” phrase, Tekno emphasized the pleasure people get from watching someone being funny and deliberately goofy.
The “Pana” crooner added that sometimes the joke is simply in the foolishness, and that is enough to keep people entertained.
His words, “Intellectual no dey work again. Wetin I go do with your intellect? I can watch Carter Efe for hours and just be laughing at him just being goofy because that’s interesting. Back in the day wey you dey watch Osuofia and Mr. Ibu, wetin make you been like them? No be the mumu wey dem dey mumu?”
