African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said that Pastor Enoch Adeboye prayed for him following a private meeting at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) National Thanksgiving Service in Lagos. He recently revealed that he was introduced to the congregation during the service held at the church’s headquarters in Ebute-Metta on Sunday.
According to him, Pastor Adeboye described his political journey as honourable and told him that he has been closely following his activities.
The activist, however, clarified that his presence at the thanksgiving service was not aimed at advancing any political agenda.
His words, “After the service, I had a private meeting and conversation with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who offered to pray for me.
He stated that he follows my activities religiously, expressed certainty that my path is honorable, and said he is confident of my triumph.”
