Reports Of Rift Between Wike And I Are False – Umahi

The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has dismissed reports of a strained relationship between him and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. He recently had his say while speaking at a press conference in Abuja, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Describing the former Rivers State governor as a progressive politician and member of the same political family, Umahi stated that the reports of a rift are fake because they are both connected by their shared political interests.

Stressing that their relationship remains cordial, he added that their political differences have been exaggerated by opponents.

His words, “We need Wike as Wike needs us. So, it’s one family.”
