Super Falcons interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen has warned his players against underestimating Comoros ahead of their 2028 Olympic Games qualifying fixtures. Comoros is set to host the 10-time African champions in the first leg of their second-round qualifying tie at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne today.
Despite Nigeria’s superior pedigree and the quality of players at their disposal, Eguavoen urged the Super Falcons to approach the clash with the right attitude.
The interim coach concluded by expressing confidence in his team’s ability to progress to the next round.
His words, “I believe no team can come here and survive. But we are not looking down on anyone.
We’re not looking down on our opponents, really, with all respect. We stick to our game plan and just make sure we deliver.”
