Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has renamed The Dome International Event and Cultural Centre after former governor Olusegun Mimiko. He recently announced that the facility will now be known as the Dr Olusegun Mimiko Cultural and Event Centre.
Stressing that the decision was made in recognition of Mimiko’s contributions to the state, Aiyedatiwa hailed the ex-governor for improving Ondo’s health and education sectors while launching initiatives like the free shuttle bus scheme for students.
Urging Nigerian youths to build strong personal character before aspiring to lead others, he added that effective leadership requires capacity building.
