“Your Message To Nigerians In The UK Was Callous” – FG To Peter Obi

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has challenged Peter Obi over his claim that political opponents twisted his comments about Nigerians in the diaspora. He recently had his say via a post on his X platform, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Describing Obi’s clarification as a reaffirmation of his earlier remarks, Onanuga insisted that nobody misrepresented his presidential aspirant’s callous message to Nigerians in the U.K.

He concluded by calling for the death penalty for anyone caught selling counterfeit alcoholic drinks to unsuspecting citizens.

His words, “Mr Peter Obi, you failed to clarify your Manchester callous statement. Nobody twisted your statement.

Thank you for affirming it again.”

On the sale of fake drinks, “These counterfeiters certainly have no conscience.

Until we start imposing a death penalty on them, they will never stop their nefarious activities.”
