Electoral Bill Is Buhari’s Opportunity To Be Remembered For Something Tangible – Atedo Peterside

Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank, Atedo Peterside has come out to urge President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to the Electoral Bill which has been on his desk for weeks.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the president needs to append his signature so that he can at least have something to be credited for when he steps down.

He added that this is the time for Buhari to do something tangible when it comes to electoral reform in the country.

His words, “[Muhammadu Buhari] should please just sign this Electoral Bill so we can give him the credit for having done something tangible in the area of electoral reform.”

“It has been almost seven years of zero progress in this area under his watch.”
