Popular singer, Davido has come out to say that having a nomination for the just-finished 66th Grammy Awards is reason enough for him to be proud of himself.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, getting the nomination alone is a win on its own because he only wanted to hear his music on the radio when he first started recording songs.

Davido added that he dad told him he is super proud when they spoke on the phone recently.

His words, “Being nominated alone is enough to make me proud of myself. I just want my song to be heard on the radio once or twice in the beginning, but for it to transcend to this is just amazing and God’s doing.

I was on the phone with my dad yesterday and he was like ‘Son no matter what happens, you are still a legend’. So yeah, he is a big fan.”

WOW.
