World boxing champion and Mexican boxer, Canelo Alvarez has come out to threaten Argentinian football superstar, Lionel Messi after accusing him of disrespecting his country’s flag.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Messi better prays to God that he doesn’t find him after he cleaned the floor with the nation’s jersey and flag because he cannot be disrespecting his country like that.

Canelo added that he respects Argentina completely, so he demands respect in return.

His words, “Did you guys see Messi cleaning the floor with our jersey and flag.”

“He better pray to God that I don’t find him.”

“Just like I respect Argentina, he has to respect Mexico!”

“I’m not talking about the country as a whole, just about the bulls**t that Messi did.”
