Mohbad’s Mother Abandoned Him For 15 Years – Lere Olayinka



Ex media aide to ex-governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, Lere Olayinka has come out to tackle late singer, Mohbad’s mum.

He recently had his say via his Instagram page, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Mohbad’s mother abandoned the late singer and his sister for fifteen years and never looked back, only for her to enjoy benefits from the same child she allegedly abandoned.

Lere added that it is funny to now see the same woman receiving condolences on a child that died partly when he was abandoned.

His words, “A woman left two children, MOHBAD and his sister, in the hands of a man and never looked back until after 15 years.

Today, the same woman is living in an apartment in a major Estate in Lekki, Lagos, courtesy of the child she abandoned for 15 years!

Meanwhile, the daughter she abandoned alongside MOHBAD had to learn TAILORING and has no shop of her own up till today. She is doing her tailoring in her father’s house.

And the same woman too is receiving condolences on a child that died partly because the mother who should have helped to make him a better person abandoned him for 15 years.

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (8 June 1996 – 12 September 2023), known professionally as MohBad, was a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter from Lagos. He was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records and left the label in 2022.

He was best known for his hit singles “Ponmo, Feel Good”, and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” (You Will Always Be Remembered) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for The Headies awards 2022.

He released his debut album, Light, in the fourth quarter of 2020 as a follow-up to his viral song “Ponmo,” which featured Naira Marley and Lil Kesh. MohBad was nominated five times for The Beatz Awards 2021.

Naira Marley served as executive producer for the eight-track EP, which also bears the production stamps of SB, Rexxie, P.Beat, and Austin Sinister.
