A Naijavibe reader who would prefer to remain anonymous sent in this story of her experience with day time robbery in Lagos….

It was the handing over weekend, my fiance decided to spend d holiday with my family n I. Fast forward Monday morning, we left Badagry(home) as early as 5:20am for work in which was a late time to leave home. My fiance was already angry that he was going to be late for work.

But the trouble started when we got to Agboju mosalasi heading towards first gate. A guy came towards my fiance’s car and asked us to give him anything we had, since we were trying to save gas, we didn’t wind up so we didn’t answer him, he started hitting the car from the driver’s side so we had to wind up to prevent any tussle. The car in front of us being driven by a woman too had two guys hitting her car seriously and harassing her. When they left the woman’s car, they approached our’s and started hitting the car saying we should wind-down and give them something. Their faces looked like ex-con/hardened criminal …My dear agbero face no hard reach this guy’s face. The fear of having to meet more on that lane due to the heavy traffic made us change to service lane.

I am sharing this to draw the attention of the appropriate authorities to look into this matter, if these guys continue this harassment and venture, they will definitely start robbing on that road in broad daylight.
I can’t give you the full gist of all that happened that day but that’s just a tip of the iceberg
Commuters on d road don’t even care what happens to private car owners, they all turned a blind eye.
