The Lagos State government has come out to react to FG’s decision on Nigerian students not participating in the 2020 WASSCE.

The state recently revealed that it would make its position known to every Lagos student on Monday, July 13, 2020.

According to the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, the state government intends to react to the cancellation of the exam by the Federal Government very soon, so students should relax and wait for their verdict.

She added that a response cannot be provided now until there is enough clarity.

Her words, “We are still reviewing the situation and will let you know our decision on Monday. I don’t want to say more than that; give us time. It is something we can’t respond to now. There is not enough clarity; so it’s better to speak when I do.”
