Former first lady Michelle Obama has said that Christmas cards are a big deal for her family. She recently had her say while appearing as a guest on the Dec. 15 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, she and Barack Obama send out a massive amount of holiday greeting cards to family, friends and associates every single year, and it has been a habit for many years.

Michelle added that her family actually distributes more than 100,000 Christmas cards to their loved ones annually.

Her words, “You know, we checked. It’s over 100,000.

But that incorporates friends, family, business people [and] foundation people, so it’s a lot of folks that we want to thank.”
