Hollywood actress Teyana Taylor has revealed how she maintains straight A’s in her culinary courses. She recently spoke candidly about getting nervous about completing her homework on time, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, she requested a homework extension to attend the 2026 Golden Globes, and her chef allowed her to submit her assignment 2 days after the deadline.

Taylor then hailed her school, Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, stressing that they have been very supportive of her balancing her career and coursework.

Her words, “Shoutout Escoffier. They’ve been very, very supportive of me.

I do be scared when I be like ‘Oh my God, oh my God. My deadline is on Tuesday. I gotta have my meal in by Tuesday. But I spoke to my chef yesterday and he’s giving me an extension so I can turn my assignment in on Thursday.

I was like, ‘Chef, this is when the double life is kicking in,’ because I’m a straight-A student and I want to keep it that way. And I don’t want to make any excuses. I don’t want no breaks, because you know, you could take a semester off. I don’t want to do none of that, like, just give me a couple extra days.”
