Illegal Parking Operators In Computer Village Risk Arrest – LASG

The Lagos State Government has warned residents and motorists in the Computer Village area of Ikeja about fraudsters posing as parking operators to extort unsuspecting drivers. LASG recently had its say via a press statement on its Facebook page, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to the Lagos State Parking Authority, individuals and syndicates involved in illegal parking activities risk arrest and prosecution henceforth.

The General Manager of LASPA, Adebisi Adelabu, added that the authority has uncovered a racket in which fraudsters, working with touts, illegally collect parking fees from motorists.

Her words, “We are aware of these fraudulent activities, and we want to make it clear that LASPA is the only government body legally mandated to oversee parking in Lagos State.”
