Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has promised that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will focus on achievements rather than personal attacks in its campaign ahead of the 2027 general election. He recently had his say during the inauguration of the APC 2027 presidential and gubernatorial campaign council management team in Kano.
Stressing that council members must not be intimidated by opposition parties or allow fear to affect their campaign activities, the governor stated that APC will concentrate on explaining its achievements to voters and presenting its plans for the future.
He concluded by urging party members to remain committed and work together to mobilise support for the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
His words, “We are going to campaign based on what the APC leaders have done, not campaign full of insults.
Kano should garner a lot of votes for President Tinubu. The number of votes the APC gets in Kano should be the highest in the country. This is possible if you go out and campaign as required.
The members of this council are APC soldiers, and I urge you to carry out your responsibilities with commitment and work towards the party’s victory.”
