Popular singer Banky W has shared how his wife, Adesua Etomi, came to see him as her husband. He recently revealed that he once stepped back from pursuing her, and fans have been reacting.

Speaking during an interview with Teju Babyface, Banky said he was convinced early that Adesua was the one for him, even though she did not feel the same way at first.

Stressing that he ended up vowing not to raise the issue again until Adesua decided to be with him on her own, the former music executive disclosed that his wife eventually received confirmation and reached out to him.

His words, “I was like, I’m not talking to her again. Maybe because of all the hearts I have broken, God has now sent somebody to break my heart.

I went to God and said, ‘I feel like this is my wife, but she can’t see it. If you want us together, go and tell her.

I vowed that if she didn’t come to that conclusion herself, I would not bring it up again.

She eventually called and said, Banky, you know you’re my husband, right?

I replied, I’ve known for a year and a half, I’ve just been waiting for you to catch up.”
