I’ve Been Battling Glaucoma For Years – Remi Aluko

Popular Fuji musician Remi Aluko has opened up about his worsening health. He recently revealed that he has been battling glaucoma for years and now struggles with his eyesight.

Speaking during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Aluko said that despite undergoing eye surgery, his condition has only deteriorated.

Insisting that he has learnt to cope with the condition, Remi added that he protects his mental health by not focusing on it.

His words, “I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down. Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed.”
