NURTW National President MC Oluomo has opened up about how he succeeded without formal education. He recently had his say while speaking at Asiwaju Babatunde Oremule’s 80th birthday, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Noting that he started providing for his mother at age 13 despite not going to school, the transport union boss stated that he was able to navigate life because his practical intelligence more than compensated for any academic qualification.
Reflecting openly on his humble upbringing, MC Oluomo added that his own children have since grown to become doctors and lawyers.
His words, “Though I am not educated, but the Internet in my head surpasses a degree holder.”
