Barcelona midfielder Pedri has delivered a playful message to his close friend Ferran Torres ahead of the anticipated UCL clash against PSG. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Emphasizing the match’s magnitude and PSG’s quality across the pitch, Pedri said he his hoping Torres will be unlucky in front of goal throughout the clash.
He concluded by hailing Dembele for finally transitioning from a mercurial talent into a world-class force.
His words, “I hope he doesn’t have any luck in this match, that he doesn’t score.
I wish him luck for the rest of the season. I have a very good relationship with him and we talk a lot when we’re with the national team.
In training, I saw Dembele do incredible things; he did well, but he was more inconsistent than now that he’s exploded onto the scene and is a world-class player.
They have many qualities up front, they are game-changers and they know how to control the game in midfield.
I’m not going to reinvent the wheel, they have won the last two Champions League.”
