When Don Jazzy did his ALS Ice bucket Challenge, we said a new trend has started, two more artistes he nominated has taken up the challenge.
For those who don’t understand what it is about yet:
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is used to describe motor neurone diseases which affects a person’s ability to move voluntarily, stops people eating, walking and talking. The ice bucket challenge started after a baseball player with MND, Pete Frates, volunteered to have it done to him.
Since the Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral, the ALS Association has received over $14 million in donations – a huge boost from the $1.7 million in donations during the same time period last year.
