Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He recently had his say via a press statement issued hours ago, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he is quitting because the party’s recently concluded primaries were manipulated in favour of Atiku Abubakar and his associates.

Describing the exercise as massively rigged, Babachir concluded by claiming that the process was tampered with to ensure the emergence of the former Vice-President and his allies.
