Atiku Wins ADC Presidential Primary In Sokoto

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential primary of the African Democratic Congress in Sokoto State. Prof. Aminu Abubakar, the state presidential primary collation officer, recently announced the results at the party secretariat in Sokoto.

Revealing that 69,434 votes were cast out of 69,871 registered voters, Aminu declared that Atiku polled 68,823 votes to defeat other contenders in the exercise.

The exercise was witnessed by party stakeholders, including former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, former Deputy Governor Manir Muhammad Dan’iya and the state party chairman, Abdullahi Maigwandu.
