Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has come out to call for the establishment of a regional task force to track and curb cross-border criminality in the South West and other areas under the Command of 2 Division of the Nigerian Army, Ibadan.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he wants a symbiotic working relationship between his administration and the GOC, and he can only assure the military team that Osun would remain a home of hospitality where there would be no discrimination.

He added that there is a clear need for the establishment of a regional task force to track and reduce cross-border criminality in an important region.

His words, “The visit is very significant and a great opportunity to strengthen the security strategy on the sustenance of the current peace and stability not just in Osun but in the region.”
