According to the report, Davido listened to Gbagbe Oshi which Shizzi produced for General Pype and immediately fell in love with it.

It is alleged that Davido paid General Pype more than a million Naira to acquire the song.

Following payment Davido went on to re-record Gbagbe Oshi in his own voice but retaining the lyrics and instrumental.

This is not the first time Davido is purchasing a song from fellow Nigerian artistes. The singer reportedly purchased Aye and Gobe from Runtown and Password respectively.
