Giving Glorilla A Gospel Award Is A Big Shame – Solomon Buchi

Popular writer and social commentator, Solomon Buchi, has come out to slam organizers of the BET awards for giving American rapper and songwriter, Glorilla, a gospel award.

Recall that Glorilla recently won the “Best Gospel Artist” award at the 2025 BET Awards, and fans have been reacting.

Also reacting via his social media page, Buchi revealed that Glorilla featuring on a gospel song does not make her a gospel singer, and she doesn’t deserve to be handed such an award because her brand stands for nudity and profanity.

He added that the horrible decision by the BET organizers is further proof that the gospel industry is now a scam.

His words, “So naked, profane-singing, seductively pop stars are now winning gospel awards? Shame on all involved to make this happen.

Again, gospel industry is a scam. It became a scam ever since it stopped being ministry.”
