Popular singer Tems has explained why she wouldn’t consider a romantic relationship with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. She recently had her say while speaking during an interview at the BET Awards, and fans have been reacting.
Asked if she would approach the footballer if given the chance, the Grammy award winner dismissed the idea, stressing that she does not see fellow Nigerian celebrities in a romantic light.
Tems added that celebrities in Nigeria share a close bond and often relate to one another like family.
Her words, “I know who Maduka Okoye is, but I don’t know him personally. Shoot? No, no, no, we don’t shoot shots here. We’re friends. We ‘friend’ each other and we’re family. No shots.”
