The 2023 Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has come out to say that he joined the coalition of opposition parties to replace bad governance.

He recently had his say at an event where he donated N10 million to an Anglican Church, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, his involvement with the coalition of opposition parties has nothing to do with seeking positions or his political aspirations, instead, he is more focused on delivering good leadership to Nigerians.

Peter Obi added that politics has never been about positions for him, and he prefers to always use his status to do the right thing for the people.

His words, “I’m in coalition against hunger, a coalition against poverty, a coalition against ill health, politics for me is not about positions, it is about doing the right thing.

Whatever you make of it (the report), I can tell you that, I Peter, have told you where I stand. I just came back (from Rome), I didn’t talk about politics, I’m talking about the education of these children. I’m not talking about positions.

In this country, we are not talking about what we should be talking about. What we should be talking about is how we are going to educate our children.”

WOW.
