A Nigerian woman’s who left her fiance because he doesn’t permit or allow her to  pay to for anything; this have led to some talks on social media.

The woman with the Twitter handle @awkward_ah said her man would get angry whenever she bought things herself. He preferred to pay by himself and she found this rather controlling. But it wasn’t only that that led to her arriving at that conclusion.

She said he suggested she quit her job and begin working for him. He also tried to change her to suit his idea of his perfect woman and this bothered her, so she broke off their engagement.

Some social media users understood her concerns while some felt she just lost a really good man, and it’s led to a debate of some sorts on Twitter.
