Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade has said that she never considered giving up her career for her children. She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, one of her kids once asked if she ever thought about walking away from Nollywood for their sake, and her response was an emphatic No.
Omotola added that even if her children are very important to her, giving up her career and acting talent has never crossed her mind.
Her words, “There was was a time one of my kids asked me ‘Mom, was there anytime you thought about leaving your career for us?’
I answered: ‘I was never going to leave my career for you.’
And that’s the truth. You can’t ask me to choose anything over my career. I can’t choose anything over my career.”
