Ex Edo governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has told Governor Godwin Obaseki that he joined APC to add the needed value for the progress of the political party.
Osagie, who disclosed this in Benin yesterday while thanking everyone that showed up at his formal declaration ceremony to the APC, said he has massive respect for Governor Godwin Obaseki and his office.
He appreciated members of the National Working Committee of the APC led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for their encouragement and support before the ceremony.
His words, ”I thank indefatigable National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for the encouragement and support prior to the ceremony and in the course of our reception”.
“I also thank our followers who in spite of extreme provocation, remained calm and resisted the temptation of retaliation which would have made us to fall into the trap that our detractors had intended as an excuse to unleash mayhem”.
