Former BBNaija housemate Sheggz has addressed the end of his relationship with Bella Okagbue. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
Lamenting that his name and character were being unfairly attacked, Sheggz refuted the cheating allegations levelled against him, stressing that he went as far as buying an engagement ring because he hoped the relationship would lead to marriage.
The reality star added that despite caring deeply for Bella, he ultimately concluded that the trust and respect needed for a healthy marriage were non-existent
His words, “I have never spoken publicly on the internet out of respect for my family, and it simply isn’t my nature to do so. However, after four years of working hard to build my life and my reputation, I feel it is only fair to clarify my position rather than allow my name or character to be unfairly tarnished.
I did not cheat on Bella, and I have been single since January 2026.
I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring because I believed in the possibility of a future together. Unfortunately, sometimes two people can care deeply for one another and still come to the realisation that the relationship is no longer right for them.”

The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. In a twist to the game, two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining housemates.
Ebuka, the most popular housemate for several weeks into the show and widely believed to emerge the winner was the seventh housemate to be evicted; many viewers blame the Joe’s Fan Club (JFC) for his eviction. Joe himself was soon evicted from the show.
Big Brother added another twist to the game on day 79 by cancelling the day’s scheduled nominations and making the housemates believe they will instead be evicted based on their performances on assigned tasks while in reality no more evictions were held and viewers began voting for the winner who turned out to be 26-year-old Katung Aduwak.
