Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has said that Lionel Messi can add another Ballon d’Or to his record-breaking trophy cabinet. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though Argentina is preparing for a new era without the greatest footballer of all time, Messi remains the standard-bearer for world football at his advanced age.
Mac Allister added that the Argentine national team must adapt tactically once their captain steps away.

On his future at Liverpool, “There’s no firm decision yet. I still have two years left on my contract.
As I said, I’m going to give it my all. A lot can happen in that time; there are plenty of options.
Hopefully it’ll be for more years, but if it’s just two, I’ll have to enjoy them with my family, because I have no doubt that I’m at one of the best clubs in the world.”
