I just got the news from a reliable source, Akeem of Movida has passed on.

Whenever the issue of night clubbing comes up for discourse, especially in the metropolis of Lagos, one name that cannot but be mentioned is that of the man about town, Hakeem Shodehinde, who sits atop the best club in town, Movida.

General, as Hakeem is fondly called, had been involved in the night club business many years back but he did not come into the consciousness of the people until he founded Extreme Night Club, after which he teamed up with his footballer cousin, Joseph Yobo, to float a well patronised one, called, Reloaded. He went on to commission another one that was known as Insomnia, that has remained talk of the town. This was done in collaboration with another night club expert, Hamed. So sure of his magical wand in the night club business was this stoutly built and well-connected Hakeem that he moved to open Movida.
