My Relationship With Genevieve Nnaji Was Not A Secret – Pat Attah

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pat Attah has come out to say that he was once in a sizzling relationship with Genevieve Nnaji for 2 years.

He recently had his say in an interview, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he cannot be telling lies about dating Genevieve in the past if it is not true, and some people even knew they were an item at the time.

Pat added that he and the actress also attended events together as a couple, so it was not a fling.

His words, “Ain’t going to lie. We had something serious and for some reason, we had to break up when we had to break up.”

“I think about two years or almost two years.”

“No it wasn’t like a secret something. We went places together. It wasn’t like we were having a fling. We were serious with each other.”

The term continues to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later assumed to be a portmanteau of the words “Nigeria” and “Hollywood”, the American major film hub.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
