Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has said that natural resources alone cannot guarantee a prosperous national economy. He recently had his say at the 10th anniversary celebration and inauguration of the CapitalSage Holdings Global Headquarters in Ibadan.
Insisting that sustainable growth depends on entrepreneurship, skills, knowledge and intensive production, Makinde stated that while Nigeria is richly endowed with natural resources, only entrepreneurs’ willingness to take risks will guarantee economic prosperity.
He added that prosperous nations attained success by moving beyond resource abundance to building human capital that creates jobs and value.
