Upcoming Rwandan singer Patricia Neza Masozera, known by the stage name Neza Africa has signed a recording deal with Nigerian International music label MCG Empire owned by Mc Galaxy.

Neza is a Rwandan singer based in Canada. She was spotted and signed by Nigerian Singer and Songwriter Innocent Udeme Udofot known as MC Galaxy under his International record label MCG Empire.

The label is described by Nigerian media as ‘a fast growing record label in the Nigeria music industry’ and Neza is the first international act to be signed under it.

MC Galaxy rose to fame after winning a dance competition sponsored by singer Davido in 2012. He has since worked with prominent names such as Tspize, Swizz Beatz, Uhuru and Shizzi and lots more.

Since signing with MCG Empire, Neza released her first song ‘My Baby’ accompanied with a video, featuring Mc Galaxy.

The African Entertainment Award winner believes the new deal will see the release of several singles and albums hence assisting her to grow musically. Neza earned herself the 2012 award for Best Female Artist.

The Song ‘My Baby’ featuring MC Galaxy is a melodious danceable love jam which was shot in Canada by Shakes and was produced by Wole Ogundare.

MC Galaxy describes Neza as a talented singer who is hard working, adding that he will do his best to promote her music on different TV and radio stations at the international level.

‘Neza is a young talented female singer that I’ve ever seen. Her voice is unique and when you’re listening to her music you can’t easily get over it.
This is why the partnership will help us explore her potential and help take her music to another level’, he said.

He also noted that their song has been picked up by Trace Urban and MTV Base, some of the internationally recognized televisions.

Patricia Neza Masozera, 23, was born and raised in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to Rwandan parents.

As a child she was exposed to local music, storytelling and to artistes including Koffi Olomide, Mbilia Bel, Wenge Music and Madilu System, who all had an influence on her music.
