Borno State Governor, Babangana Zulum has come out to say that Nigeria will keep uniting despite its current challenges.

He recently revealed this in Ibadan during a courtesy visit to his Oyo State counterpart, Gov. Sheyi Makinde.

According to him, those causing trouble in different parts of the country should desist henceforth, and allow peace to reign because nobody can predict what would happen in times of crises.

He then urged the political class to take deliberate steps to preserve the land, protect the environment, and ensure the peace and stability of the country.

His words, “We used to walk freely across the length and breadth of the city of Ibadan, Saki and Oyo and we should not allow sentiments to destroy this very important culture of the great people of Ibadan.”

“We will continue to stay together, live in peace and harmony for the betterment of Nigeria.”

Seyi Makinde added, “We want to encourage you and to let you know that we are praying for you. By God’s grace, you will succeed. As leaders, we only need to pull together to defeat the problems in the country.”

“We also want to acknowledge the work that you are doing in your state, especially on the issue of insecurity.”
