The National President of Yoruba Youth Socio-cultural Association (YYSA), Mr Hammed Olalekan has come out to blast the lackadaisical attitude of Nigerians toward compliance with National Identification Number (NIN) registration directives.

He recently revealed this via a statement in Lagos State, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Nigerians are yet to attach the required importance to the directive that has to do with the security situation in the country for about seven years, despite delaying getting it done till 2021.

He added that it is sad that a registration that was kick-started almost seven years ago is still ongoing.

His words, “I would like to strongly condemn the lackadaisical attitude of Nigerians towards compliance with government directives and policies.

β€œThe NIN registration has been kick-started since almost seven years ago and it is being done continuously until this moment.”
