Ogun 2027: Yayi Is APC’s Preferred Flag Bearer – Dapo Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has announced Senator Solomon Adeola, a.k.a Yayi, as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 governorship election in the state. He recently had his say during a strategic caucus meeting attended by party leaders and stakeholders, where discussions focused on succession planning and preparations ahead of the next election cycle.

Stating that the party has already settled on Yayi as its preferred flag bearer, he stressed the importance of continuity within the APC.

Abiodun further referenced previous leadership transitions and urged members to remain united in backing a candidate capable of sustaining the APC’s political dominance in Ogun State.

His words, “But first, we’ve decided who is deserving as the next flag bearer of our dear state.”
