Olamide Clarifies He’s Not Shy, Says He’s Just ‘Laid Back’

Nigerian rapper Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Badoo, has opened up about a misconception surrounding his personality, insisting that he is not shy as many believe.

In an interview with Ada’s Room, the YBNL boss explained that his calm and relaxed demeanor is often mistaken for shyness.

“One thing I wish people could understand about me is I am not shy, I am just laid back,” he said.

Olamide elaborated that being laid back does not diminish his confidence or charisma, but rather reflects his preference to avoid unnecessary distractions.

“Shy is when you don’t have the confidence and the charisma to stand people or look them in the eye or have conversations with them. But being laid back is you just don’t want to be bothered. People think I am shy but I am not,” he added.

The rapper’s clarification offers fans a glimpse into his personality, showing that his relaxed style is intentional and not a reflection of insecurity.
