He recently revealed that his recent candidacy in the U.S election has inspired several young Nigerians.
According to him, the convincing victory at the elections proves that the can-do spirit of all Nigeria’s young people will never die.
He added that Oye Owolewa’s new role will definitely inspire young Kwarans and Nigerians to strive to be better.

“This weekend, when I spoke with Oye — whose father is from Omu-Aran in Kwara State — I emphasized that his candidacy has inspired many young Kwarans and Nigerians to strive to be better.”

Olubukola Abubakar Saraki, MBBS, CON (born 19 December 1962) is a Nigerian politician who was the 13th President of the Senate of Nigeria from 2015 to 2019 and Chair of the 8th Nigeria National Assembly.
He was previously the Governor of Kwara State from 2003 to 2011; and was elected to the Senate in 2011, under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing the Kwara Central Senatorial District, and then re-elected in the 2015 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olubukola Abubakar Saraki was born on 19 December 1962 in London to his mother Florence Morenike Saraki and his father Olusola Saraki, who was a Senator in the Second Nigerian Republic. Bukola Saraki is married to Toyin Saraki (née Ojora), they have four children together.
Saraki was educated at King’s College, Lagos, where he graduated in 1978. He attended Cheltenham College, a public boarding school in the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1981. He then proceeded to London Hospital Medical College of the University of London from 1982 to 1987, where he received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.
