The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has commended Nigeria’s security forces for the successful rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State. He recently had his say while mourning an Army officer who lost his life during the operation, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Speaking via a press statement issued on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, the party hailed the intelligence-led, multi-agency operation that led to the rescue of the victims after more than 56 days in captivity.
The SDP concluded by describing the operation as a demonstration of professionalism, coordination and commitment by the nation’s security agencies.
